Today we got up early and drove to Sequim (skwim) to pick strawberries. This "hike" also took us to some parks along the Strait of Juan de Fuca where we were looking across the strait to Victoria Island. The weather was absolutely perfect and we picked 40 pounds of strawberries. The farm was great, and the berries were ripe and ready. We enjoyed a nice picnic at the farm before visiting some of the county parks along the coast of the Strait. The long drive out to Sequim makes this want to be an overnight trip, and we plan to return this summer and stay overnight and make two days out of this wonderful part of Washington.
